Writing
I very much like writing, and reading. This may be in contradiction with the
World according to Garp (by Mr. Irving) but still, it is true. There are three
things that I frequently write: poems, stories and letters. I also write
reports, and enjoy doing that, but I won't mention them here any further.
Poems
I'm not a good poet, but I still like to catch difficult things in words: like
a picture, a landscape, an emotion, a thought, or nothing at all. I do this in
both English and dutch.
Trying to do this has given me more control over both languages, and a way to
keep my diary. I now have over 1000 `poems', of varying length. I might include
some of them here, in the future.
Stories
One of my targets in life is the writing of a scenario for a movie, which
should be called `Fantasy'. I got the entire thing in my head, but I'm having
severe problems getting it on paper. At the moment I'm splitting it in many
short stories that should ultimately be combined into one big piece of writing.
None of my work has been published yet: I didn't think it good enough (it
isn't, really). I might put something here though, if you're interested.
